For their Decatur, Georgia wedding, Laura & Jeff had the idea of incorporating a botanical look by using the state flowers for many of the states that were significant to the two of them and their history together. So we started with a classic, vintage-style rose on their photo save the dates and wedding invitations. We flat printed their details on a softly textured paper for a natural feel, and layered papers in their chosen shades of fuchsia and lake to create a custom pocket invitation that housed a custom map and reply set. For more rustic charm, we chose kraft paper envelopes and lined them in an imported Italian Tile patterned paper. The state flowers made their appearance throughout the wedding day, including on the escort cards that guests used to find their tables – each table was a different state flower. Escort cards were also tucked into tiny kraft envelopes printed with each guest’s name.
